The dataset provides high-resolution geospatial outputs on degree of urbanisation, available for download in GeoTIFF format at 1 km resolution and presented in the Mollweide equal-area projection (ESRI:54009, WGS84 ellipsoid).

WorldPop Global2 R2025A population data were used together with the GHSL GHS-DUG tool (v6.8) to produce Degree of Urbanisation classes.

Geospatial output data consist of several files covering different urbanisation classes; please refer to the tool documentation for detailed file specifications, processing parameters, and usage guidelines.
