The dataset is available to download in Geotiff format at a resolution of 3 arc (approximately 100m at the equator). The projection is Geographic Coordinate System, WGS84.

Units: The VIIRS data are meseared in nanoWatts/cm2/sr. Original radiance values are multiplied by 1E9 in the source data.

Filenames: Example - col_viirs_100m_2012.tif represents VIIRS night-time lights in Colombia for the year 2012.
