Geospatial covariate data layers |
The dataset is available to download in Geotiff format at a resolution of 3 arc (approximately 100m at the equator). The projection is Geographic Coordinate System, WGS84.
Units: The unit of radiance employed in the standard uncalibrated DMSP data is a digital number ranging from 0 to 63. The inter-calibrated version of the data multiplies the digital number of the source by 100. Therefore the values of the intercalibrated raster range from 0 to 6300.
Filenames: Example - arm_dmsp_100m_2000.tif represents DMSP-OLS night-time lights in Armenia for the year 2000.
